DJACAL: Open-source laboratory information management for academia

DJACAL is (going to be) a laboratory information management system (LIMS) for academic life-science laboratories.

The software is currently (as of October 2011) in a pre-alpha state, i.e. it is by no means usable yet. But I'm working on it ;-)

DJACAL is programmed in Python using the Django framework. It will run on a web server (e.g., your laboratory's internal server) and will have a web interface, making it platform- and location-independent.
